the odds

The most amazing thing happened to me while in NYC. though it didn’t involve food directly. No words can really describe the true emotions and feelings behind a serendipitous event such as the one Jim and I experienced last night, so let me just say it involved a newly released CD, a seemingly impromptu Kosovon parade through Times Square, a newly discovered Mark Twain play, a curly-haired and bespectacled Irish fiddler named Martin Hayes, and an obscure Italian restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen called Roberto Passon.
